Development level of domestic metal composite technology


The research work on metal composite materials has been carried out in our country, including fiber reinforcement, particle enhancement, laminating, spray deposition and in situ formation. Throughout the world, the research and application of metal composite materials mainly focus on SiC particle reinforced metal matrix composites and have made great achievements. A few countries (such as the United States, Japan and Canada) have entered the application stage, and have achieved remarkable economic benefits. Our research in this field is late, most of them are still in the laboratory stage, and the depth and breadth of the research are very limited, and the industrial research has just begun. Metal composites have been widely applied in many fields such as automobile industry, aerospace, electronics, military industry and sports since their advent. The key factors that restrict its development, such as complex process and high cost, are gradually eliminated. Many countries have established industrial scale producing metal composite factories. It is believed that in the near future, the manufacturing process of metal composite materials will be simpler, the cost will be lower, and the scope of use will be wider.
